If I had $500… Reptile prints are big, but instead of going head to toe, I’ll introduce it in subtle ways, such as this Alias Mae “Ash” boot ($400).

If I had $1000… The Camilla and Marc “Clemence” coat ($950) is a true investment piece, especially in the classic pinstripe. Plus it’s belted, which I love.

If I had $100 … Slouchy jeans that are chic but comfy. Thankfully, denim is here to stay, and I couldn’t be happier – it’s what I live in. I’ve seen some at Zara ($80) that tick all my boxes.

If I had $500… A shirt with shoulder pads – I swear, it’s a game changer. I have 50 white shirts in my cupboard, but this Scanlan Theodore one ($350) is really different. Everyone needs a good white shirt.

If I had $1000… A silver “Bold Link” necklace by Michael Hill ($999). I’ve borrowed jewellery in the same style for an event, but I want this. It’s big and chunky without screaming, “Look at me!”

If I had $100… Comme Si merino wool socks in lilac ($65), to extend the life of my summer sandals as the temperature drops.

If I had $500… Continuing this theme, a pair of stockings in an interesting texture or colour to winterise short summer dresses and skirts. There are some from Wardrobe.NYC ($475) that are particularly luxurious.

If I had $1000… I’d hunt down a pre-loved pair of The Row’s zipper boots in olive from a few collections ago. I have a black pair I’ve absolutely flogged – they’re now in their fifth winter.

If I had $100… A pair of Lululemon “Align” leggings ($129) for running. They’re like a second skin – the fabric is insanely soft and lightweight. Plus, the waistband stays put and gives me extra support.

If I had $500… A pair of Stella McCartney “Rasant” fringed high-top trainers ($370). They work with pretty much anything – pants, dresses, skirts – and I love the detailing.

If I had $1000… A Loewe “Flamenco” clutch in dark khaki. They cost about $4000 new, so I’ll hunt pre-loved sites. The buttery leather moulds to your hand. It’s elegant without trying too hard.

If I had $100… A well-fitting bra. Having something new under winter layers feels so special. As someone who’s a 12E, my favourite brands are Skims, Intimo, FineLines and Simone Pérèle.

If I had $500… I’m heading to Japan soon and hope I can score a vintage Burberry trench coat. It would be something I can cherish forever as a reminder of my first trip there.

If I had $1000… Danish brand Ganni has the most divine slouchy boots ($845). As a woman with athletic calves, I am thrilled to see this style is trending. I’d style these under pants, or with a flirty mini.

If I had $100… Don’t underestimate the value of a perfectly matched sock to bring an outfit together. Chusette makes incredible woollen ones ($52), and the colours are a Pantone dream.

If I had $500… Burgundy and wine are everywhere, and I have my eye on a trench-raincoat from Melbourne brand Bul ($460). The gloss finish means it’s functional and looks amazing.

If I had $1000… A cowboy boot from Sandro ($823 on sale) is the perfect mix of elegance and cool. The perk of living in the Southern Hemisphere is that all the European winter stock is on sale now.

If I had $100… An Anine Bing baseball cap ($87). Chocolate is the new neutral across apparel and accessories, and it’s what I’ll be wearing all season.

If I had $500… Continuing the brown theme, the Mia suede “East West” tote ($499) from our range. It will pair with the mixed metal pieces I have my eye on.

If I had $1000… A coffee-coloured “Emmett” blazer by Camilla and Marc ($750). The single-breasted style is relaxed without being too oversized.

If I had $100… For me, sun protection is non-negotiable, so I’d start with an embroidered logo cap from Australian fashion brand Beare Park. I love walking, so I’d wear it after applying our Emma Lewisham Sunceutical Mineral SPF 50 Face Crème ($79), which is a non-whitening and deeply hydrating formula.

If I had $500… I’d invest in organic cotton bedlinen by Tekla (from $60). Given the importance of sleep, I prioritise high-quality bedding that adds cosiness and brightness to my bedroom.
