CHARLOTTE, N.C. β Rapper Pitbull announced Friday that he is ending his partnership with NASCAR’s Trackhouse Racing Team “effective immediately” after four years.Β
The Miami rapper joined the team as a co-owner in 2021, following the organization’s acquisition of Chip Ganassi Racing. Trackhouse currently fields Cup Series entries for Ross Chastain, Daniel Suarez and Shane van Gisbergen. In 2023, Pitbull released an album titled “Trackhouse” in honor of the team.Β
“Over the past five years, weβve made history by introducing NASCAR to a whole new audience and falling in love with NASCAR fans at the same time,” Pitbull posted on X.Β
“Armando came in when we had no certainty of any material success and took a chance to help build a brand,” Marks said. “Now that we’ve scaled up and have new partners, he’s been able to be rewarded for the impact he’s made. A great investment on both ends. Β Excited to see what he does next!”
