Scott Lampe named president of Hendrick Motorsports Technical Solutions



Lampe joined Hendrick Motorsports in 1999, serving in an executive capacity for over 20 years.

CONCORD, N.C. β€” Veteran executive Scott Lampe was appointed president of Hendrick Motorsports Technical Solutions, a manufacturing company operated by the 14-time NASCAR championship-winning team.Β 

The company plans to open a new state-of-the-art headquarters next month in Concord, about 25 miles northeast of Uptown Charlotte. Founded in 2019, Hendrick Motorsports Technical Solutions is a stand-alone entity that supports various commercial and government programs with expert engineering and manufacturing services.Β 

Lampe first joined Hendrick Motorsports in 1999 before being named chief financial officer in 2005, a role he served until leaving the organization in 2019. Lampe returned to Hendrick in 2022 as CFO and was promoted to senior vice president in 2023. He also serves on the board of directors for the North Carolina Motorsports Association.Β

Construction of the new facility began in November 2023. The 160,000-square-foot facility sits on 19 acres next to the sprawling Hendrick compound in Concord, just across from Charlotte Motor Speedway. The companies services include fabricated metal structures, prototyping and assembly, as well as CNC machining, composites and electronics expertise.Β

Hendrick Motorsports Technical Solutions was recognized as GM Defense’s supplier of the year in 2022, 2023 and 2024. The company currently employs 140 people and expects to add around 60 new jobs by the middle of 2026. The company has become a home for highly skilled workers, especially those transitioning out of full-time racing.Β
