The deal, which will also make Verizon the official 5G mobile partner of the NFL team, will help administer $3 million in debt relief to Wisconsin veterans over the next two years.Β

The first wave of debt relief, an initial $1 million, will be administered in the coming weeks, according to Verizon. “Verizon is proud to expand our commitment to Wisconsin’s veterans, building on our previous $1 million investment. Forgiving debt is a tangible way to honor their service and sacrifice. We recognize the burdens our veterans carry, and through partnerships like this, we aim to make a life-changing impact,” Andrew Brady, the Great Lakes Market President said in a press release. “Our dedication to veterans is unwavering, and we are excited to leverage our partnerships to further enhance their wellbeing.”

Additionally, the partnership with Verizon and the Green Bay Packers will enhance cell service in and around Lambeau Field.Β

“By teaming up with Verizon, we can continue prioritizing investments in the stadium’s cellular network to ensure our fans can stay connected on gameday and every day. We are looking forward to having Verizon’s excellent service support our operations at Lambeau Field for years to come,” Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy said in a statement.
