In 2021, Renfrow had 103 receptions for over 1,000 yards receiving with the Las Vegas Raiders.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. β The Carolina Panthers continue to add receiving weapons for quarterback Bryce Young.
Hunter Renfrow signed a contract with the Panthers, the team confirmed Sunday. The details of the deal were not disclosed.
Renfrow played five seasons with the Las Vegas Raiders franchise after being drafted out of Clemson. He was a solid receiver during his tenure with the team, particularly in 2021 when he had 103 receptions for 1,038 yards receiving and nine touchdowns.
The Raiders released Renfrow after the 2023 season, and he did not play in 2024.
At Clemson, Renfrow walked on to the team and helped the Tigers win two national championships. He is a native of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Renfrow joins a growing receiving room for the Panthers, highlighted by two-time Pro Bowler Adam Thielen, second-year first-round pick Xavier Legette, and Carolina’s latest first-round pick, Tetairoa McMillan. Jalen Coker is another receiver on the Panthers roster looking to improve upon his rookie season.
