CHARLOTTE, N.C. β The Charlotte Area Transit System will temporarily reroute nine bus lines on Saturday during the Carolina Panthers’ playoff game against the Los Angeles Rams. The game marks the Panthers’ first playoff appearance since 2017.
The detours will affect routes 1, 5, 7, 8, 16, 22, 26, 34 and 35 from 1 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. as the Panthers host the Rams at Bank of America Stadium.
Buses will avoid Mint Hill Street between Morehead Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, causing 31 stops along that stretch to be temporarily missed, according to a release from CATS.
CATS officials recommend riders use the CATS-Pass app to find alternative stops or routes during the detour period.
