CHARLOTTE, N.C. β Charlotte FC announced Wednesday that it acquired forward Wilfried Zaha on loan from Galatasaray for the 2025 season.Β
Zaha will occupy a Designated Player spot and an international roster slot on Charlotte FC’s 2025 team. The loan runs through Jan. 17, 2026, with an option to extend his loan through June 30, 2026.Β
Zaha, who is from the Ivory Coast, spent 10 seasons in the English Premier League, where he scored 68 goals in 305 appearances. He played for Crystal Palace, Manchester United and Cardiff City in the EPL.Β
Zaha made his professional debut at age 17 in the EFL Championship. His performance caught the eye of Manchester United, which signed him in January 2013.Β
