VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. β€” Former NFL player Samuel Beal has been missing for seven months, last seen in Virginia Beach, according to the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs).

NamUs states Beal was last seen on July 12, 2025, by his girlfriend after dropping her off at a family member’s house. He borrowed her vehicle that day and was expected to go to work but instead traveled to Virginia Beach.

The girlfriend last spoke with Beal by phone on July 13, 2025. During that call, he told her he was in Virginia Beach and planned to head back home. He did not return the following day and has not been seen or heard from since.

The borrowed vehicle was later recovered in Virginia Beach by one of the girlfriend’s family members. NamUs reports Beal’s shoes and socks were found on the front passenger-side floorboard, along with sand on the floor.

Beal was 28 years old at the time of his disappearance and is now 29. He is described as a Black/African American male, approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing around 185 pounds.

Beal was selected by the New York Giants in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft and played with the team until his release in 2021.
