MILAN, Italy β Jordan Stolz takes one last shot at winning a third gold medal at the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Games.
The 21-year-old American captured gold in the 500 and 1,000 meters before taking silver in the 1,500Β on Thursday. His last chance at a gold in 2026 comes during the mass start final on Saturday.Β
Stolz will compete in the first semifinal round at 9 a.m. ET. The top eight of 14 athletes will progress to the finals.Β
The men’s event will begin at 10:40 a.m. ET and the women’s event will happen right after.Β
This is his fourth and final Olympic event in Italy.
In Beijing in 2022, at just 17 years old, Stolz finished 13th in the 1000m and 14th in the 500m. In the time since, he has established himself as the best in the world at his sport, including two world titles each at the 500m, 1000m and 1500m.Β
Team USA athlete Ethan Cepuran was the only other American to qualify for the event. The two-time Olympian and silver and bronze medal winner will compete in the second semifinal round. Β Β

Stolz will compete in the men’s mass start speed skating semifinals at 9 a.m. ET, Saturday, Feb. 21. If he progresses to the final medal event, he will compete at 10:40 a.m. ET. Β
The race will air live on Peacock and streaming on NBC Olympics platforms. It will re-air during NBC Primetime around 8 p.m. ET, and on USA Network at 8 p.m. ET during their Milan Cortina 2026 Coverage rebroadcast.Β
