Ongoing construction at Carolina’s practice facility will prevent fans from attending training camp in 2025 or 2026, the team announced.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. β Fans will not be allowed at the Carolina Panthers’ training camp in 2025 or 2026 due to ongoing construction at the team’s practice facility, the organization announced on Wednesday.Β
Fans will be welcomed at Fan Fest at Bank of America Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 2. Ticket information for Fan Fest has yet to be announced. This is just the second time in franchise history that Panthers fans won’t be allowed at training camp. The first was during the 2020 training camp.Β
The Panthers issued the following statement regarding the situation:Β
“Due to ongoing construction at the Carolina Panthers practice fields, the team is unable to host fans on-site throughout the 2025 and 2026 Carolina Panthers Training Camps. The Panthers will host fans during Fan Fest at Bank of America Stadium on Saturday, August 2, 2025.”
Last year marked the first time the Panthers held training camp in Charlotte, ending the long-running tradition of holding camp at Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina.Β
Charlotte leaders approved plans last summer to add a field house to the Panthers’ existing practice facility on Cedar Street in Uptown. Other details of the project include upgraded fields and a viewing deck for fans.Β
The Panthers have the No. 8 pick in the first round of the NFL Draft. WCNC Charlotte sports anchors Nick Carboni and Danielle Stein will break down the draft and analyze the team’s options during our special NFL Draft coverage on WCNC+. The event begins at 7 p.m. and will be streamed live for free on WCNC+.Β
