North Carolina businesses preparing for March Madness, NCAA Tournament crowds

RALEIGH, N.C. — March Madness preparations are already underway and the regular season isn’t even over yet.

The Lenovo Center will play host to games during the first two rounds of this year’s NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.

We won’t know until Selection Sunday if any of our local teams will get to play a game in their own backyard at Lenovo Center but regardless, there will be a lot of hoops in town throughout March Madness.

The banners promoting the games are already up along Hillsborough Street.

Those first and second-round games will take place the weekend of March 21, which is just three weeks away.
