Hunt signed a $100 million deal in free agency and performed at a high level throughout his first season in Carolina.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. β Carolina Panthers offensive guard Robert Hunt was named to the 2025 NFL Pro Bowl Games on Monday, replacing Philadelphia’s Landon Dickerson, who will be playing in Super Bowl 59.Β
Hunt is Carolina’s second Pro Bowler, joining defensive back Jaycee Horn.Β
Hunt signed a $100 million contract with the Panthers in free agency last March and has been an anchor on the offensive line ever since. Hunt was flagged for holding just once over the course of the season, appearing in 16 games before missing the regular season finale with a knee injury, according to Panthers.com’s Darin Gantt.Β
This is the first time Carolina’s had multiple Pro Bowl players since 2021, when Brian Burns and Stephon Gilmore made the cut.Β
Hunt spent the first five seasons of his career with the Miami Dolphins before entering free agency in 2024. He was a critical component in rebuilding the Panthers’ offensive line to protect Bryce Young, who was sacked 62 times during his rookie season. The investment paid dividends with the Panthers surrendering fewer sacks and establishing a consistent running game with Chuba Hubbard.Β
