CHARLOTTE, N.C. β Three years ahead of flag football officially joining the Olympics at the 2028 Summer Games in Los Angeles, USA Football held training camp at the U.S. Performance Center on the campus of UNC Charlotte.
The 12-member menβs and womenβs teams are currently training for upcoming international competitions, and will do so in Charlotte through Sunday.
The U.S. Womenβs National Team will compete in the World Games 2025 in China in August.Β
Both squads will participate in the 2025 IFAF Americas Continental Championship in Panama City in September.
βEverybody is excited about it. Whenever they come out to Charlotte theyβre ready to go,β said USA Football Head of Player Personnel Charles Torwudzo. βWe love being around each other. Itβs like when the family gets back together. Energy and vibes have been really high and weβre looking forward to finishing out the next couple of days.β
The U.S. National Teams are reigning continental champions dating back to the eventβs debut in Charlotte in 2023.
