The house
An off-the-plan, twoβbedroom apartment in innerβcity Sydney with ornamental cornices, steel warehouseβstyle doors and parquetry floors, which are rarely found in similar developments.
Who lives here
Ryan McGregor, an interior architect, and Jono Fleming, an interior designer.
What we did
βWe focused on infusing warmth and personality into the interiors by blending my minimalist sensibility with Jonoβs maximalist flair,β says McGregor.
Favourite room
βOur living room is our happy space,β says Fleming. βItβs a place where we unwind on our Jardan βValleyβ sofa surrounded by art and objects that tell our shared story.β
The βhood
βWhether Ryan is cycling through leafy streets to work or weβre strolling around the neighbourhood, the lively character and diverse mix of people make every day special,β says Fleming.
Future plans
βThe kitchen is the darkest corner,β says McGregor. βBut weβre planning to brighten it up and boost its functionality with storage solutions, stone accents and panelled cupboards.β
Best advice
βBy regularly rotating our lamps, vases, and other pieces, we keep our home feeling fresh and uncluttered,β says Fleming.
