How would you describe your personal style? Eclectic and playful. I see fashion as a tool of self-expression. Itβs about whatever energy Iβm channelling that day.
What is the oldest thing in your wardrobe? A pair of leather pants from the β80s that belonged to my dad.
And the most recent addition? A Diesel belt with a big phoenix buckle. Itβs a such a vibe.
What would you wear β¦ on a first date? My stovepipe flared jeans, an open shirt with my titties out, and boots. β¦ on a plane? I want to say Iβd be like RuPaul and wear a suit, but instead Iβd wear a hoodie so I could pull the drawstring for full sensory deprivation, loose basketball shorts and New Balance chrome reflective sneakers. β¦on the red carpet? To the Melbourne opening of Oscar, the ballet production, I wore a lace corset under a glam Giorgio Armani diamante pin-stripe suit.
Whatβs your favourite fashion era? Menswear from the β70s is my sweet spot for the long-line silhouettes, while 1990s hip-hop culture is everything; itβs what I reference most day-to-day.
Who are your favourite designers? Dion Lee, Dsquared2, Peter Do, Mowalola and, of course, my own label, Socaboy Studio.
Whatβs your fragrance of choice? Dita Von Teese βScandalwoodβ by Heretic Parfum.
What are the three essential items in your wardrobe? My Toga Virilis motorcycle boots, silver Telfar shopping bag and Socaboy black cap.
