Champions Point, the sprawling home formerly owned by the Bulls icon, is now “accepting bookings for short-term luxury stays” via Airbnb Luxe. The 7.39-acre estate is now owned by businessman John Cooper, who purchased it from Jordan earlier this year.Β
Jordan reportedly sold Champions Point for $9.5 million, significantly less than the $29 million he originally wanted when it was first listed over a decade ago.Β
According to the Airbnb listing, Champions Point is a seven-bedroom, 17.5-bath estate that can accommodate 14 guests. The home, which is located in Highland Park, Illinois, requires a seven-day stay. Cooper previously offered the property up for rent earlier this year, billing a $230,000 month-long stay as “The Ultimate March Madness Retreat.”Β
Jordan sold his majority stake of the Charlotte Hornets in 2023, marking an end to his run as the team’s governor. He took over as the team’s majority owner in 2010, but had a small piece of the franchise for several years before taking primary control. The current ownership group, led by Gabe Plotkin and Rich Schnall, includes North Carolina natives J. Col and Eric Church.Β
